Merchandising the Home
Key Interiors has a unique three-phase approach that guides the homeowner and Realtor® through the merchandising process.
First Phase: Revealing the Potential
Key Interiors reviews the property and provides a written report that profiles the potential buyer and recommends actions that make the house appealing to the market.
Second Phase: Adopting the Merchandising Frame of Mind
Key Interiors shows the homeowner how to think of their property as a product that can be merchandised to sell.
Third Phase: Applying Key Design Principles
Key Interiors stages the property by employing one or more of the following services:
-
Redesign
Key Interiors re-arranges existing furnishings and accessories, so that the property shows at its best for the market.
-
Enhance
Key Interiors serves as a “private shopper,” purchasing and installing furnishings and accessories that help potential buyers identify with the property. Arrangements can be made to either rent or purchase these items.
-
Define
If the homeowner is in transition and the property is being shown unfurnished, Key Interiors coordinates the rental of furniture, artwork, accessories and plants to be temporarily installed in the property. This defining design captures buyers’ interest by making the home look and feel like a great place to live.
